Where are the products from?

Our products are all sourced directly from suppliers and stocked here in our New Zealand warehouse.  Our current range of products are made in the USA, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Taiwan and China.  We only stock reputable products which are known for high quality in their respective industries. 

What are your shipping costs?

We try to make our shipping costs as simple as possible.  Parcels costs vary between depend on dimensions and weights of the item(s) ordered.  We can ship either standard International Air Post or Air Courier to Australia and we also now ship to Europe, UK and South Africa with NZ Post International Air Post.  Please see our Shipping page for rates and more information.

How long will delivery be?

We strive to post orders the same day we receive an online order, with the cut off order time being Midday that same day.  NZ Parcels will generally take 2 working days for North Island and between 2-3 working days for South Island with standard Post.  Courier Post will be next day delivery.  Rural locations may take longer.  Australian shipments are delivered by Air and take between 3-10 days depending on location & service.  Other International Shipments can take between 7-10 working days depending on destination.  Special Requests or Customised shipments sourced from the USA and can take around 7-10 working days to arrive to us, but be aware that there may be delays with Customs which are outside of our control.  We will keep you informed or shipment progress at all times.  For more information see our Shipping page. 

How do I know how much stock there is of each product?

The stocks are updated systematically each time we receive an online order, however due to the fluid nature of an online store, your item may not be available at the time you place your order.  In this case, we will advise you of the approximate time on when new stock will arrive.  We generally order lighting on a two-weekly shipping schedule.

How can I pay for my order?

We accept payments with PayPal, Visa, or MasterCard.  Any of these options can be selected at the Checkout section of our website.

If I placed a Special Order, do I have to pay in full upon ordering?

Yes, we can only place the order for a Special Request item once it has been paid in full.

How can I get my Invoice?

Your order confirmation will be sent by email when your order is processed.  If you require a Tax Invoice (GST for New Zealand customers) or International Invoice (GST exempt) for your order, please email us and we will provide this for you.

Can I get my order delivered to a different address?

Your shipping address can be different from your billing address but you need to separately complete the 'Shipping Address' details when you place your order.  For Wheels & Tyres we request they be delivered to a Business address, simply so that the courier can be assured of delivery between 8am-5pm.  If no one is at a residential address the Wheels & Tyres can not be delivered and could result in delays or additional costs.

I still haven’t received my order, what can I do about it?

If you haven’t received your order within the specified or expected timeframe, please contact us at sales@stang.nz  For Special Orders, we will keep you fully advised of shipment progress.

It looks like my parcel may have already been opened?

We ensure that all our parcels received from our suppliers are quality checked before they get sent out to you, so we open all our packages and ensure the correct pieces and instructions are included.  We will reseal any boxes or tubes and may repackage the product before sending to you.

Do I have everything I need for Installation of my part?

Some of our parts come with accessories for assisting with installation.  However, in most cases you will need simple tools found in most households such as wrenches, screw drivers, masking tape, methylated spirits, car jack etc.  The Instruction Manuals advise which tools you will need prior to installing your part.  Unless it is a very straight forward part, we always recommend using a professional for the best possible installation and finish.

 

What if I am not confident installing the part myself?

We offer the self-install as an option only, but we understand you have spent a lot of money on your car and you may prefer a professional to install.  Take a look at our Installation Information page for more guidance. 

Are my lighting products legal in my country?

Lighting regulations are different for different countries, states and territories.  We sell worldwide, so we cannot provide information for every market, so we suggest you check local regulations and guidelines for retro-fitment of lighting.  Please also see our Warranties & Returns section for more information.

What are the conditions to make a return?

We accept returns for items that are faulty or do not conform to the images and/or details on the product pages.  Please check out our Warranty and Certification page for more information.

What do you do with my personal data?

We keep all your personal data confidential and we do not communicate or sell it to any third parties.  Please see our Privacy Policy.

Is the payment secure?

All methods of payment are completely safe and secure.
